I was starting to think that I'd never crank another one of these things out. This piece differs from my previous two in pretty obvious ways and didn't take nearly as much time, but I'm happy with how it turned out. This is also the largest photomanip I've created so far (1018 x 888 pixels), so you'll need to full view and/or download in order to really see everything. Aside from the work on the unicorn and her rider (some of which was freehand), the vast majority of this thing involved brushes. Lots and lots of them. DA brush artists rock my socks. This piece can probably also be called "fanart" because it was inspired by my favorite series of books as a kid, "The Secret of the Unicorn Queen." When inspiration hits, you don't ask why. Though I'd appreciate it if you could link back to my SXC photo like you originally did instead of linking to my deviant account.
I have my photos on that SXC site and not here. I hope you'll understand

Dreams are real while they last, can we say more of life?
